ha ha yeah i did go with the a/t's. of all the people at the tire places they told me to go with them. especially since i dont go off roading. the m/t's werent needed. plus they were about $50 more a tire, and i didnt wanna spend that much more just for the look. the mts do an awesome job off road tho my brother had some 35 in bfg mts on a jeep they were great. by the way, you got a toyota thats why your over 230,000 miles and still going! you take care of it and it will go forever.

by the way, i just realized what you were talkin about when you said you had a 99. i have acutally looked at it a few times because i was really considering getting the bgf m/ts and you had a great shot what they look like on a 4runner. damn that one was nice. you like your sr5 better?

no i havent had any problems with it so far. ive had it lifted since december and actually just got the new tires put on 3 days ago. but the thing is is that i havent gone off road. i dont really plan to, cause my boyfriend has a f250 and my brother has a tahoe on 36s so we get them all dirty! mine is totally for looks, especially after i helped them clean theirs after mudriding and the mud wont hardly come out from underneath!

As far the bumpers, they are OEM bumper and were painted like that from the factory. I modified the lower valance by cutting the pieces that covered the front of my tires. I then painted it flat black. Nothing to drastic or out of place.

Since I clear 35's with 1 1/2" body lift, I see no problems going 2". You'll have plenty of tire clearance for 33's....

I'd keep the body lift to a minimum, the only reason why I went with one was for tire clearance. I've seen a few that went with a 3" lift, but I'd personally wouldn't want any more than 1 1/2".

sweet, thats the one i been wanting. i've just heard some people say it makes the ride worse and some say its the same so, how do you think it drives? and did you use your factory shocks still?
i got the bulb from autolumination.com . its a 74 bulb and i ordered the one thats the tri-led one. the bulb is actually loose as hell in there but i finally got it to sit in there right and close everything up so its sitting in there good enough to work.

Hey man sorry it took me so long to post back with a response I never check my page for the 98 4Runner. I see that you already mounted the lights, they look good. As far as wiring I mounted the lights on a Yakima crossbar with accessory clips and then ran 1 ground wire for all four lights and then 2 hot wires, one for each set of lights since up top I have a set of fogs and driving lights. The wiring then runs into the door jam and then behind the trim on the B-Post. You shouldnt have any trouble with water getting in I never did with my 98 Runner but the 2005 is a different story. Enjoy the lights and let me know what kind you went with, they look like Hellas.
