I have a 96 base model too. I've done quite a bit but I would say keep it clean. If you want speed, leave the cosmetics alone. It's really a waste of time for the moment. If you want looks and speed later... then it's your choice. If you didn't know or figured out yet you will need to change your headlights to the smaller 97-99 ones in order to get that bumper to fit. I think cutting it to get yours to fit will look distasteful. Anyhow, I have a few pics of some projects you can do if you want. Take it easy and happy tuning.

Hey man, you stated in your profile if anyone has any tips let you know, well here it is. Sell the probe unless you are going to be using it as a winter beater. Secondly, if you are planning several exterior mods, body kit/hood/different fenders/spoiler, etc. do them all at once, going to save a lot of hassle and down time for the car.... there is nothing worse than seeing someone put on a body kit and then be like "oh fuck, now I don't have enough money to paint it" Basically just plan ahead and don't be retarded like a lot of guys with their cars.

... hmmm every real tunner ask themselves this one question, what do i want out of this car? once you can asnwer that then you can go from there, this was also my dream car to, so i do understand where you are coming from, so you want to do this car right but in a way that no one else has done before.
what engine mod is it? if you want to do her right start in the inside out, the body and rims are always easy to throw together, and if you get alot of snow there to atleast your inside will always stay fresh in clean, do a few engine mod... exhaust, plugs wires injectors, you can buy inside vinyl from like a junk yard and repaint it, then like headers cold air, head and tail lights, depends on what you want from this car, i wanted mine to be different than any other eclipse.
thanks for the comment means alot, and i hope that i have helped, and if there is anything else i can do let me know.

yeah i'll help you out. i see you haven't joined the forum yet. why not? the site is www.eclasscrew.forumotion.com anyways the wiring is not different on the headlights the extra wires that you see are for the halos. the original light bulb sockets go directly into the back of the headlight. as far as the extra wires are concerned, you have to tap those into the wires for your bumper corner turn signals. it's nothing big and you can do that yourself unless you're not too good with wiring. get on that site though dude. there are a bunch more people on there that can give you advice
