I'd go for the 69 Impala if it doesn't need too much body work. Most of the body parts are not available even in reproduction form. The rear 1/4s are available but are of poor quality. They do not have the characteristic pontoon bulge around the wheel opening nor do they have the correct lower character line. The side light opening is actually for a 70, not a 69 so it would require work to fit the 69 side light in. The wheel opening moldings are also available in repro form but are incorrect for the fronts and don't fit well in the rear. If you make it more a custom and less an original, then you have more choices. By the way, nice lookin' Lincoln!

ya man nice car i was looking for something diffrent to do so i did my lincoln now its almost done and a friend told me that he knows a guy that has a 69 impala 327 with a/c the car has mint interior but only very little rust on the rear quarters i can get the car for 500 dollars im not sure about doing an impala so i looked up ampalas here and found there arnt many 69s done over i was planning to do a custom car out of it lower in the front mabey 22s on it in your opinion what do you think of the 69 impalas just looking for another opinion i gotta make up my mind or the car will be gone i know the drivetrain is well worth the cash alone but i want to build another car like my lincoln and the impala might be the one thanks
