You really have NISMO parts in your Mazda? How is that working for you? And like Mazda3 1975 asked, you going to lower it?

It is the factory navigation. The iPod integration kit needs to be purchased. You get either iPod or Sirius, not both. The 2008 radio has Sirius and an aux input jack.

You have to consider that anything over 17" is actually detrimental to performance, especially on sport-compacts. I stuck with the factory rims and powder coated them. 19" is as big as you can go. Also consider the cost of rubber for those rims. Chrome is a big no-no for performance, it is way, way heavy. Also when you increase your rim, think about your brakes and your other suspension parts.

Always had a thing for hatches. I think the 3's motor is superb. I just didn't know if it could handle the boost without a rebuild.

Not sure, I'm a purist. I want great handling, a little better breathing, that's it. I want it to look stock. Can the '06 3 normally aspirated handle turbo? Do you have to build up the bottom end or replace the axle? I would carefully plan though, you want it to still be street-able. I've talked to a few Mazda techs and they say they have yet to see one done right, well planned. I would think about shocks/struts, you'll have to eventually if you lower. I look at it this way, in this country, you can get up to speed fast, and carve up turns quicker than the highway patrol would like. Top speed isn't a concern of mine.
