sorry i don't remember what gear that is off the top of my head. but i am pretty sure that the 94-96 9C1 had posi-traction. if you find out any thing let me know because i would like to put posi-traction in my carprice

Depends on how you want to do it. You can go the long way buy new springs, new shocks and spend as much as 500$ installed. Or you can go to any auto store and buy " Coil Spring Boosters". The lift on my blue one has new shocks and springs, done right. But its really pretty simple to install the boosters. There just small 2inch pieces that you install between the stock springs. The red one for instance, had good stock springs still so we just installed 2 sets on each side for the 5". Think they cost like 8bucks a piece, so probably a total of 60$. Still rides smooth for being on stock springs/shocks and having boosters on the springs. Have had no issues with them , and have installed them on many cars to clear up to 28's. There reliable.
