just got you last message, sorry I can't be more of a help, I'm familiar with the problem, my car did the same thing but once it did I started my DOHC swap so i didn't even mess with it. I know one of the guys at daewootech.com will be able to help out. just join (it's free) and post a question in the engine section, I'm sure you will get an answer pretty quick.

Good luck with your car. Time and effort really do pay off. Dropping in the 260 hp LNF power train would really make this thing a great sleeper, especially since it seems to weigh even less than a Solstice or Sky.

that's interesting, post this on daewootech.com and see if anyone else has had the same issue. I haven't had the issue before so I would likely be firing into the dark.
sorry I couldn't be more a help, hope to see you on the forum soon,

thanks for checking out the site, it's always good to get some feedback.
as for the body kits, our specialty is just with the engine, tranny and some suspension/braking parts, body kit would be a long way off if at all.
you might contact Eirbuni Corp (meaning call) and ask if they still have the kit available that I bough from them. it's not the best but it can be made to be great. otherwise you will have to look to the UK.
as for the nasayers... have them take a look at this...

Hey John, thanks for checking out my page it's in some much needed updates!
as far as the body kit goes there is nothing here in the States, what you would have to do is look to the UK. The British version is the Vauxhall Astra MK2. the German version is the Opel Kadett E (MK2). both versions are called "estates" instead of sedans.
I'd say start by joining www.daewootech.com as that is the US home for tech advice, you can also join a UK based forum, www.migweb.co.uk where you can find a source for the European body kits.
good luck and I hope to see you on the forum soon.

Nice Car! I like the K&N air cleaner, and the speakers, nice! I have those same ones I had in my Vic, but i'm selling mine. You should wire up the lighting on those. Keep me posted! Check out my ride and vote!
