Yeah, i know, it was way too close for comfort. The passport 9500i is amazing! easy to install on the MS3 as well. I know I-81 well, i used to live in fairfax and drive that way to ohio to see my parents all the time. and would go through beckley on my way home from school, had a vette at the time and would not go above the limit in va at all, cops are just too good there and do have too many hiding places. i never used one in va at all, they can also confiscate it or break it, it's better to go fast in WVa or Maryland if you make it up that far. Yeah, those GTs really hate it when i pass them up or play with them a bit then just nail it! Last weekend, i was driving between daytona and tampa at over 100 the entire way, really fun, was playing follow the leader with a g35, entire trip took under two hours, tons of fun!

i like the bbs cause my boss uses them on his porsche gt3 race car(it's only used on the track, not street legal), they have the best manufacturing process out there. that and they just look mighty cool...yeah, that stop was not planned on! i was testing the top speed on an open eight lane freeway and noticed a cop with the radar off bout half a mile up on the right and didn't want to go to jail! he got right behind me and rode my ass for the next three miles, i didn't budge a mile above the limit at that time and turned off on a side road so he let me go, scary experience, not the speed (car is smooth at 150), just the cop.

yeah, but these brakes are pretty big anyway, and trust me, they stop you right quick! (151-60 in less than 1/8th mile) the car does get expensive, i'm trying to tell myself not to buy anything more for a year, the nav system was a bit pricy, and i got it at half price! next thing i'm looking at are a set of rims, i like the bbs ones, but they are like $680/rim...so a lot of saving before i get those

good to hear, i'd like to see what those look like, i'm trying to find the ones that are more open to show off the calipers.

thanks, yeah, i try to make it easy. I'll be checking the wiring this weekend and will let you know if that's the correct layout. anyway, saw that you added rims to your old 3, if you are looking to get new rims, make sure they are forged, not cast. the abilities of this car will overcome a cast wheel very quickly and you could end up cracking the rims and wrecking your car. the forged rims aren't cheap, but they are made to handle the loads and stresses that a car like the MS3 can put on them.
