Hi- You asked about my seats... they are custom bomber seats I bought on Ebay, from the seller id name - " 2talltr3 " He did a great job with them, I paid $400 for the pair. He will make them in any color you want, and any dimension. You can have different color welting, too to contrast (the piping on the edges) the main color.
Your B sound likes she wants to start. Remember - if you have spark, fuel and compression, you will get her running.
Good Luck!

Nice updates, James. I see you've done some good progress with that MG so far. Great the way you transformed the engine bay into what it is now. I'll be with you all the way. Good luck. Hope you get the engine started without any hitches. Do check me out if you might have time. Cheers!!! - Mon

James, just checking in. You're making great progress! I had a 63 "B" back in the day, and they're superb cars.

Awesome project you have going there! I have been following your progress on your car these past two months and think that you are doing a great job! I think it is awesome how you were able to get the paint to come back out and look that good. It is also awesome how you were able to get your engine bay looking clean and the wheels looking brand new. I have been planning on cleaning up the engine bay in my Triumph GT6 for awhile now and was wondering what is a good way to do it. I have thought about engine degreaser and a hose but I am not so sure. If you want, check out my GT6's engine bay on the 1st page and on the transmission linkage rebuild page of my cardomain page and let me know what you think I should do. Also, keep me posted on when you do an update because I look forward to reading more on your progress.
Thanks,
-Jeff.

You have a really nice project car and the price was more than right! If you need technical help or free advice I recommend mgbexperience.com its a fantastic resource. Drop a post there and you'll get dozens of hits right away. I've had my '3 MGB for over 25 years and its a great little car.

Damn fine job! Did the paint really come up that good without a re-spray? Hard-pushed to find 'em in that condition over here!!! Nice Avatar too, what music you into? Check my work-horse! Thanx!

I know it's been a while, but thanks for your comment on my Bimmer. As for the buffing and waxing of the paint, I might have some trouble with that; it looks faded but more like it's worn, it shows another color (primer maybe?). I think the car have never seen a winter but it did see lots of sun. Do you think I can do anything with it, besides re-painting it ? Thanks again, J-S.

Nice find, James. That MGB is in relatively good shape (surprisingly) after sitting there with an open top for 27 years. Nice blow-by-blow account of your work being done too. Can't wait to see how you'll start doing work on the engine...left me hanging in a way...lol. Good luck with your project. And don't worry about the wifey thing. Mine was furious and confused the first time she saw my wagon in our garage. She later on realized what I was doing...still confused a bit, though...ha ha ha...
