Whats up fellow TCD member. thanks for the kind words on the rides.The acura didn't beat me by to much maybe 2 lenths. And right as i caught him he turned. So who knows the silverado might have whooped him. And sadly my Kaprice is not at the moment an LT1 it's a L99 4.3L (baby LT1).But anyway, I am very jelious bro you've got yourself one nice elcamino. I'm trying to hopeful land

Well I have to keep bugging the other driver's insurance company. They don't seem to care right now. He only had liability and I only HAD liability. (Darn right I'm getting full coverage now!). And the police didn't say anything except "Well now you fellas know why we purchase insurance".
It all happened so quick. And when the collision occured... It really seemed like I was in a dream. I was in disbelief for about a day then I really decided to take action. One thing you'll learn about me if you meet me one day is that I NEVER give up. Which is why when I bought this car, the previous owner knew it was going to a good place. I don't give up on it.

You know... I'm thinking of letting the shop do it. The guy was able to get me a good deal on it since he said he already has some parts from an '87 Camaro. I took a look at them and they appear to be in good shape. We'll see how it goes.

You won't believe this...
On April 11th I took it to our local body shop and the guy said $2,500 minimum.
On April 14th (Today) I took it to the same body shop with a different guy working and he said $1,000.
I guess I'm a pretty good popper outter.

Well I'm going to purchase the parts and the paint and redo it myself or have my uncle do it. It will get done before summer. I'm still waiting for the insurance companies.

Aww man dude... Accidents happen. And now I'm involved.
This truck passed me at like 80 and I was doing 50mph on a 40mph road and looked over at the upcoming intersection and realized he was about to miss his road! So what does he do? SLAMS ON HIS BRAKES with no turn signal and no turn at all. He waits in the middle of the road. Misewell lend him a map now because he needs to get out of town ASAP! People like that make me mad. Why would you slam on your brakes with someone about 25 feet behind you? I swerved to avoid a huge hit and preserved my hood, but my front passenger side fender is messed up. I popped it out a little bit. Just as a temporary thing.
