Oh, and have you thought about an engine immobilizer? So if/when some scum steals, it you can just run down the end of the street and beat the life out of them.

Did I mention that the head unit also supports a backup camera? With a truck that tall you will need one, and all you need to do with that head unit is hit the button on the screen to pull up the video feed. That works both while backing up and for reading the license plate of the moron tailgating you.

For that sound system, I have some recommendations:
For your head unit, go with a Pioneer AVH-P7800DVD. Its a 6.1 Channel surround sound receiver (!) with touchscreen interface. It gets better: its a native supporter of XM NavTraffic, meaning you can get real-time traffic updates with your GPS unit, all built into that one unit!
Speakers: JL Audio ZR570-CSi for this, get six of them. Power is not the most important part of a speakers ability to produce crisp, loud sound: sensitivity is. 100 watts of power at 91 decibels is more than twice as loud as 200 watts at 89 decibels. The speakers I recommended have a 85 watt continuous power rating (meaning it doesn't wear them out to use that much power) with a 90.5 decibel rating. Pretty good for car audio.
Lastly, the woofer. I see you hunt, so lets go with a woofer that won't take to much space shall we? Here is where the Pioneer TS-SWX310 comes in. Its an already boxed subwoofer that uses fairly little space. And it has great technical specs: 250 watts continuous power rating at 91 decibels. To go with this get a GM-D7400M amp from Pioneer (its not the best, but anything more for just one sub is overkill).
And remember: place one speaker in the middle up front, then one in each door and one on each quarter panel, and one in the very back up top. That will give you realistic 6.1 channel sound playback.
As far as the truck goes: its not my taste, but its still a incredible vehicle. Practically rust proof to: you'd probably have to TRY to rust it, but there is little way mother nature is going to get that truck now.
