Hi Daniel, I appreciate your comments. I've owned Fords too - I don't really care about the make - I just appreciate a car with good engineering. My son had a Mazda 1300 crapbox that he put a turbo 13B in. Over 200kW's at the wheels and 850kgs! Thats when I got an appreciation for what turbos could do, and I thought "one day" if I get a chance, I would do it. The Clubby is at Autotech at the moment getting the new Harrop fuel system in (std system could not keep up with the power) - so check out my page in a few weeks when I get it back - we think its good for over 800 horsepower! Trouble is you can't use this power on the street as I have found out. It breaks traction big time in the first 4 gears when it hits boost. Having said that, it is a good car to drive on the street - as long as the rpm's are kept below 2,500rpm. Thats a very nice looking Celica you have, and if you ever go down the turbo route, I guarantee you will have a heap of fun in it! Cheers, Ian

I'm working on creating a group for Toyota owners to discuss how to improve their cars and anything else car related. Also I want to make it a resource for different Toyota car info. and parts info. The group is called Japanese Road Warriors. We'd love you to join, thanks.

Nice cool Celica, Daniel. That's a nice model Toyota came up with. And that engine is also great. From '72 to that model, Celicas really looked like what a Celica should be. Classic shape and design I wish they should have continued doing in their later models. Take good care of her, bro. God bless...
