thanks for the comments bud, nice bird by the way..as for your poll, i naturally voted ls1 cause im partial to em but a 350 would be good too for reasons already stated such as being common,cheap and super easy ta get parts for...lt1 engines dont have the power an ls1 does and a 454 is gonna take some major body stiffining and a larger much stiffer panhard bar

Nice Bird man. I was never partial to the thrid gens, but yours looks pretty bad ass. As for your pole, I think you should swap in the LS1. I have seen it done on the older cars and it really sets em off. Plus I just rebuilt one in my engine repair class and they are easy as hell to work on.
