Yo man I was coming home the other night and my belt just snapped on me…thankfully I was almost home though. Yesterday I bought a belt while I was at work and came home to put it on….i got it all on and turned the car on (had to manually bump it again) and I revved the car up to make sure the belt wasn’t slipping. I noticed then that it was leaking antifreeze from somewhere so I started to look around. I then saw that it was coming out of the bottom of my throttle body where the spacer is. When we were putting it all back together the head of the bottom bolt on the throttle body broke off….but I didn’t think anything of it. I figured it would still hold it in place ya kno? Anyhow…now ive got to figure out how to get that bolt out so I can put a new one in to make it nice and tight. The belt issue was caused because of this. The radiator fluid was dripping down on one of the pulleys and made it wet….im guessing that’s why the belt slipped off and snapped.
that sucks though that you still dont have your car back...even though its in good hands. im pretty sure id be like look i need a car too...not my fault you want a new one lol.
my dash pad is pretty badly cracked....id say theres a good 10 nice sized cracks and a few little ones...it blows.
i plan on buying the driveshaft off ebay...but ive got to get these other issues straightened out first ya kno? im pretty sure my car is just a spoiled little brat lol and craves my constant attention. do you ever feel like that?

im only in high school... lol. i just turned 16... i dont even have my license yet. i get it september 28th... lol 3 weeks. so this is an awesome first car. but im no spoiled little kid. i had to pay for my car and i have to pay for all the stuff im doing to it... i have a job.. there are so many kids at my school that mommy and daddy pay for everything they get and it pisses me off... and i still have the most badass car at my school. lol. working for it makes me feel better about having the car that i have.

yeah... its pretty sweet. we dont have to go to school until friday and its in question wether we will have to go or not... and we dont have to make up the days cause they say that since it was an accident we dont have to make them up. lol. its awesome.

yo man u get ur car back today?? i had to manually bump mine over today for some reason....it didnt want to start and i was afraid my starter went out or something...oh well lol its working now....i got some good news and some bad...the good news is that state farm sent me a check for 59 bucks for dividends...the letter said its just for being a customer for so long or w/e lol...it was cool...bad news...i got denied for that citi card because my credit is limited....they basically said i havent been using my current card long enough for them to approve me. i have only been using it since march of this year so i guess it makes sense. anyway...i think im going to purchase my dash pad soon and the aluminum driveshaft probably soon as well.

yeah... i know.... they look awesome from the back... but if you think my car is badass now... wait till its done. i got 18" c6 motorsport wheels coming in wednesday... and ill have pics of those up this week... and next week i have a 12" rockford fosgate punch P3... alpine mrp m650 600W amp... pioneer head unit... and 6 1/2" rockford fosgate speakers coming in next week.... i cant wait... and i have 2 more days to work on it cause my school caught on fire so im out of school till friday.... and i get my license in 3 weeks.... i cant wait... i would definately say that this is one badass first car... lol

man that sucks....i dont really trust many other people to drive my car lol...im not sure id be able to let it go. dont forget to take the car home and unplug the battery for bout 45 mins then take her out and drive her hard...otherwise u wont notice the difference right away...youve got to let the computer reset itself

i mean your car looks really nice but you should back up the looks with a V8 swap. chevy 305/350 tpi, or even an LS1.

yah i had 2 pics of my car with the 1st trophy from the glen carbon show and then the one i got from this show....its the smaller trophy. im not sure whats gonna be next for my car...my dash is pretty cracked up by the windshield so ill probably replace that so i can stop getting marked down on that lol. i think the driveshaft will be after that. im debating nos but i need to talk to a professional mechanic to see how bad that would be on my engine and figure out what kind of setup id need to run so i wouldnt blow my engine to pieces. i read that porting and polishing a throttle body is pointless without having some internal engine mods so ill probably hold off on that one til i get the rebuild done. did you get the exhaust cutout in yet??
