sweet man im guessing that you passed?? not much is goin on here...im working on figuring out my sound system. i sanded down my sub box and am going to paint it this weekend. im lookin into getting a speaker amplifier that matches my sub amp...and then get a capacitor but i have to research how it all works ya know? then im going to build a custom amp rack this winter. i figure it wont cost too much but it would help a bunch with the look of the car. my biggest thing right now is finding a winter job...once i do that...its all on!!! you have anything set up to get the cutout on??

Oh, and THANK YOU for the biggest compliment I ever got, well 2 biggest compliments. The first that mine is the most beautiful and the second that you voted for it to be show-off. I am completely blown away by that!

I haven't done the pulleys, and probably won't. The driveshaft would be the most likely weight-shaving mod, because it easily weighs the most and now, thanks to you I know how to retrofit (thanks, BTW).
I really appreciate your response a lot. Oh, the interior came with the car as is (although now well-conditioned and detailed the hell out of it). The intake has leftover red caliper paint on it, applied by brush which wasn't hard to do but some disassembly was required to do a decent job. More beautification mods are pending under the hood and some interior customization will be done as well. The manifolds will be replaced with headers within the next 2 weeks (have a small manifold leak, why fix it when I could replace 'em with a little more effort?)
I think having headers will REALLY beef up the tone of the flowmaster. The headers will be coated with silver, red or yellow ceramic paint before installation. The exhaust tips will be rolled oval splits, and I may do a little cutting on the underside of the "bumper" in the back and tuck the exh tips closer to the underside car.
I don't mind having the 3.4, and between the intake, complete exhaust mod and resistor (chip), I think I'll put the output close to the 3800 Series II. I'm having the car dynoed before the exhaust and chip, then after. I've also considered a concealed NOS install, using a couple of the non-functioning steering wheel stereo buttons, but that would be the last of all mods, and the piece de resistance. Now that I think about it, I guess I'm not far from that final mod.
Oh, and Thursday I take delivery of my very next mod. Check out the link, you really might want to get these:

BTW... gave you a great rating. As far as the pulleys are concerned, try to find the stock pulley weight(s) if possible, and the weight of the aftermarket pulleys. Do the math factoring in the cost before making the decision. Usually, the worst weight offender is the main pulley off the crankshaft cause it's the largest - and replacing just that one makes all the difference that might be noticed.

Niice Firebird, although "nice" and "firebird" pretty much mean the same thing to me. Hey, don't regret having the 3.4 V6. They get decent mileage and still aren't bad on the road. I got the same engine in mine, gonna add Pacesetter headers, a hi-flo cat and flowmaster crossflow once I fix my rear main seal. The only thing that America makes that I would want to drive more is a Corvette, and I'll get one someday but for now I look for excuses to drive my Firebird. Since I got the gas sipper in it, I can drive it more ;-) Best of luck with your ride. Looks great!

I got the BBK under pulley from the BBK web site the alt.pulley i got installed by a speed shop here in phoenix called ADS (Advanced Diagnostic Specialists) they did all my Dyno tuning. Since i put a cam and headers on it the sensor in my computer was registering knocking , allthough it was just the cam tricking the computer the lt4 knock sensor one has a higher tolerance its not so sensative check out this web site and it explains it better http://www.projecttransam.com/projects1asp

Hey thanks for the nice compliments. ya, i have changed out the under pulleys on it. also i changed the alternater pulley too. Changing those made the biggist noticable differance to me. i also just put a LT4 knock senseror on her too, but i havent had a chance to check it out yet to see an improvement.
