Hey man, thanks for the love. Your Firebird is looking good these days too. The "bra" cover looks good on yours, since your ride is black. I'm thinking about 1 for mine anyway since I drive her most every day. Keep up the great work. Peace.

hey i went to ace today and they have the same elbow...i measured up my tb and found out i need a 4" inlet to the tb...problem is my slp is 2.5 i think. so now i have to figure out something totally new lol. also the connectors i was looking at are too big...not enough room between the tb and the radiator unfortunately. im kinda back at square one lol, but dont worry im not giving up any time soon. more to come...trust me lol. this is a huge one for me and its GOING to get done if i have to have an exhaust shop custom weld up an elbow for me lol

updatin ya here...went to lowes today...got some good ideas...did some measuring...probably will make another trip to lowes tomorrow to further check on my ideas. i found a 3 inch flexible rubber t that would be awesome but i gotta check tomorrow to see if it would fit. if so i gotta figure out how to get an o2 sensor on that elbow. if not then another thing is pulling through another rubber tube on the inside of the current elbow and sealing it in place. only problem there might be that the o2 sensor on the elbow is on that side. this is gonna take a lot more thought and time than i first thought, but im excited about the possibilites

Check out my page again - I added pix and more details. Sounds stupid but I bought this less than a month ago and I cannot remember all the details of what has been added to the car. I do know it doesn't have the governor or emissions and that the computer has been turned up. Definitely can tell the difference between me using regular gas or supreme. Now - at $4.20 a gallon and I drive 35 miles to work I can't say it is worth it but it drives much better!

with the intake...i was being stupid lol...for whatever reason i was thinking i could attatch right to the elbow....doh! lol cant do that. sooo now my problem isnt welding anymore...its finding an elbow that y's out both ways lol. im gonna talk to one of my buddies later on today that works at oreilleys to see what i might be able to do. something else might be seeing if i can take more rubber tubing and somehow connect it into the current rubber elbow. not quite sure but ill keep you posted on that as well.

hey not much goin on here changed my oil yesterday and used all royal purple oil with the lucas oil additive. so far so good...ticking seems to have quieted slightly...ill keep you up to date as i really find out how it effects the car.
too bad you dont live by me id help you change the water pump for nothing. i had to do mine a few years ago. took a long time, but only cost me the price of the pump which was like 80 or something from autozone.

hmmm i have never heard that before. im sure it wouldnt hurt anything though ya know? im just not sure where to put it in or else i would have done it by now ya know? lol
im really debating doing a custom intake setup using the slp intake. ill have to mess around with it though and see what kind of ideas i can come up with. im thinking of cutting a hole in the passengers side of the intake and welding on some piping with the same kinda bend as the slp intake but going off to the passengers side. so basically im thinkin of doing a massive intake lol. prolly would get chrome pipe or polished and then sand down the slp intake and polish it up as well. only BIG problem is welding. i dont have one lol. other than that pipe isnt all that expensive

ya bro its in the vacuum lines thats right. and for the gas...yes too late. the reason u put it in before the gas is that when you fill up it mixes the seafoam in with all the gas. if you put it on top of the gas it wont mix well and pretty well be worthless. im changing my oil prolly tuesday as long as weather is nice so ill let you know how i like the lucas oil

hey man the sea foam worked great and it was cheap. i used it by puttin it in my gas tank when i filled up from around e, and i put it in my oil last time i changed it. you just add it first then put new oil in. next time im using lucas oil additive, ive seen a working mechanism with it in the oil and it helps it stick to everything better making sure oil gets on everything. theres one more system to run the sea foam through for me...cant remember which one, but its supposed to restore some power. it says everything on the can.
im thinking about sometime switching all my plugs wires and coils over to a high performance msd setup but im not sure yet. what do u think?
