Nice Dodge! All that work for a 318 though? I'm surprised that you didn't put in a 340 or 360 - both of which are equally involved. You have a nicely built 318 though - and I will admit, they're pretty bulletproof! I'm also surprised that you had to do that much fabrication. I thought all the old D and W-series trucks had the same frame mounting locations and such. I would have guess that the small-block would have bolted right in (assuming the right mounts were found).

I thought that dodge didn't make a truck before 1994 i dont think thats a real dodge why didnt you build a 340 for it thats what i would have done or better put a chevy in it. LOL.

Thanks for the comment on my truck. Your truck looks awesome. I like what you've done to it. I've had no problems with vacuum. The name "Yellow Monster" is what my sister kept calling it and so it just stuck.

haha yep they say great minds think alike..umm no i have not run it yet im just waiting for my carb to be rebuilt..cus my truck hasnt run for close to a year now..it seems to be one problem after another..but within the next two or three weeks i'll have it running & i just got a mega shifter for it before i drive it too i cant wait! ohh and cam its real small but i bought it cus i hope to be building a stroker 360 so it will work great with that and i wont have to buy another intake

Nice Truck, I was talking to a fellow last year at mopar fest and he said it was easy, just needed to get mount for a 318ci/5.2L engine, used the same trany,computer, just beefed up the rad and that was about it, I would love to hear what you did.
