For no money, get a cheap Honda Civic and have some fun with that. I think you should save up for a car you can really love.

The ideal car to drive in my opinion would be a 1980s Chrysler Fifth Avenue (check out mine), but if you can't find one, go for an old Volvo. Like, 1986. I just read that someguy in the UK just rolled 1 million miles on his. An old Mercedes will do that, too. The Taurus SHO sounds like an excellent car for yourr application as well. Good luck, and if you've got any more questions, e-mail me @ bluecollercowboy@yahoo.com

I'd go with the civic. There's so much you can do with the engine and body for a fairly small amount of money. Later

o ya dude, nd if the gen 2 92-95's aren't ur style, check out the gen 3's, 96-99, some people prefer those more, not me, and u might be able to find one for under $2000.

Wait a sec..you said no imports, yet in your own suggestions you list a honda, mitsubishi, ford, and fiat...I'm a bit confused; even if you were from europe honda and mistu would still be "imports", if you from asia ford and fiat would be "imports" What's wrong with imports? I hope you're not one of the rednecks who think american muscle is the only way to go. I own a Camaro SS and a Mitsubishi Evolution, I love them both to death.

dude, this is easy. On a budget of 2000 dollars and a car not older than a 93, just get a 93-95 taurus SHO. in case you don't know what a taurus SHO is, don't think its just a taurus. Its 24 valve DOHC 220 hp taurus, not in production anymore. they get up to 60 in about 6 seconds, and top out at just under 140 mph. you can usually find one for sale online or on ebay, but they are very rare cars. Again, don't just think to urself, "oh, its just a taurus", its much more. You deffinatley have to have one to know what im talking about. And for your price range, i think it would be perfect. Check mine out, and keep in mind its a 92, interior is different than a 93, 94, or 95.
