Hey John, Huey here, hows it going. The Bluesmobile looks better every time I see a new pick. Love the pic of your dog and the 8 track. I blew that up and put it in my garage, hope you don't mind. Just wanted to touch base with you buddy. See ya on BBC, by the way I am FL-Bluesmobile now on BBC. Also puttin the BB2K Crown Vic up for sale. She will be on ebay this Sunday. Don't want to sell her, but have to right now to fund other BB projects, property is not movin here in FL right now, business is SLOWWWW.
Take care,
Huey

Thanks for the quick reply! My name is John, and I am chairing an auction for St. Catherine School in West Dundee on January 26, 2008. The auction occurs every other year, and we typically get 200 - 250 people to attend. It is a nice event on an absolute shoe string budget, and is 100% volunteer driven. We raise $50,000 for the school, so not bad! The venue is at the new Marriott in Hoffman Estates, basically where the old Poplar Creek use to be. Our theme is Lights! Camera! Auction! We are saluting movies, especially those with Chicago themes. So as I was trying to find some unique ways to "decorate" our venue, I thought what if we got the Bluesmobile to park out in front for an hour or two while people walked in? This is in part because I am also a huge Blues Brothers fan. So, that is what led me to you. I learned of your car by an internet search on 74 Dodge Monacos, which directed me to your profile on CarDomain. We are just getting organized, so literature will be printed in September. My e-mail is pilotpeanut@yahoo.com to converse direct. If you care to e-mail me, I can forward you my direct contact information so we can chat. Thanks for your consideration!

I love watching the blues brothers.. before I had full time work I would watch that movie atleast 3 times a day.. it got me into classic car's and "used" to drive alot like Elwood Blues IE Pedal = Floor everywhere I went.. I finally met a pole.. at about 30mph I'm still working on fixing from that.. But the blues brothers had a style all there own, or they didnt.. thats what made it so cool.. check my olds out sometime.. Thanks
PS.. Does that have the "cop motor a 440ci plant"?

I was just wondering; If you were to sell your dodge, what would it cost? I'm looking for a Dodge Monaco 1974 in good and running condition. If you're intrested in selling your car, if not now maybe later, please contact me as i will pay very good money for one!

Awesome work. I'm so excited to see another Blues Brothers fanatic like myself. And you've answered a few question my dad and I have had for while! (Like the locations to some of the film sites!) Awesome work!
