it might be the cat or maybe the pipe to the manafold,
Tell your grandpa that you would pay cash for the car or just say to him "grandpa you know there are only a small amount of these cars left on the road"

Hey Jeff, if your Grandpa wants to scrap it or doesn't want it, Please let me know FIRST, because I would love to buy and restore it. My email is akubovic@hotmail.com. I live just around Toronto so it's only a 4 hour drive. So let me know, because its too nice to scrap. It would be going to a good home with another '84 Aries in the garage. Or if you are interested I have a '74 Chevy Nova 4 door Project car running I could trade.
Let me know. Adam

Classic 80's K-car!! Don't see many of these still around. I had a 1981 white 2-door. Mine had a Weber 2 bbl carb and a glass pack muffler. Also it was a 4 speed manual and that thing could burn rubber in 1st and 2nd gear!! Cool!!

The car that saved Chrysler! I love it. Production must have been huge, but I don't recall seeing too many two doors even back when every other car was a K car.

Hey, it is just the same badge as the rear of the vehicle. they come on a sticker sheet and you just peel and stick. I bought it from the dealer for $40 Canadian. :)

hey man that aries looks to be in pretty nice shape! i agree, it's not ready for the junkyard yet. i remember this one magazine that i have, on the cover it had an aries and it was like 'will this car save the chrysler corporation?' or something like that. they weren't the best cars in the world, but mopar managed to sell a bazillion of them i guess. it shouldnt be too hard to fix up, if you have any specific questions for me or my dad, i'd be happy to help you. im glad you like my valiant and my spirit. keep me posted!
