yea, midbass is usually what most cars lack. it has taken a lot of tweaking for me to be happy. i'd still like to put in a couple 8's or beefy 6.5's in the lower doors or kicks. my problem with 6x9's isn't the midbass, you're right, it's usually pretty good. it's the cheap midrange and tweeters, and the almost non-existent crossovers. at least yours are two-way. that helps a bit. i've had kicker by-9's that had an external x-over that i liked and back in '95 i bought a pair of eclipse by-9's that really impressed me. honestly, i wasn't happy with the 5.25's and 6.5's running of the deck. now that i have the rockford on them and separate amp for the sub, i'm totally pleased. peace.

Hey the wheels are in good conditions, a few knicks here and there, the cones are in bad shape, but if you are interested, i will pick up new ones of your choice at no extra cost. They come with adapters that fit 88-96 new yorkers, so they would just bolt right on. It comes with a wrench as well, for easy on/easy off for winter/spring. The shipping give or take depending on where you live, would be around 100 bucks. i paid 115 from california to massachusetts, so to give you an idea.
