actually my car is a dx with a si engine, which i dont think u guys have, but pretty much its only got 125hp stock and it does have v-tec but the compression ratio is still low enough that i should be able to run 9-10 pounds of boost with out any worries.

Hi, my new rims arriverd (18") and I would need to know specs of that mazda rims (18") you had on yours just those you were trying and rubbered the front. I have R18 7/5 with ET42 (offset).. just have no time to try them on since my exams end. Please let me know yours offset number(ET) and if they were 7 or 7/5 wide.. so I can compare if mine will fit fine.. Thanx K.

Thanks for viewing my site. Regarding your query, there is no way you can fit the 1.8 clutch disc and plate in your 1.5 tranny. what i did was to look for a 1.8 naturally aspirated motor with a front wheel drive transmission. As you've noticed the gtx motor (BPT) is 4wd, so you can't use its transmission with your mx-3. However, you can use the 1.8 (engine code BP) front wheel drive N/A tranny. It will easily BOLT ON the gtx motor. I also used the axels of the 1.8 N/A tranny since they are bigger in diameter, hence stronger than the 1.5 or 1.6 axels. The advantages of using the 1.8 N/A transmission is that it can house the 1.8 gtx clutch disk and plate including the flywheel which are bigger than the 1.5 disk, plate and flywheel. hence more clamping power.

Hi again.. This is final price with all charges what I have to pay (except the 17euro for delivery in CZECH REPUBLIC). We are also in EU so it might not be problem to get these rims for you without paying any charges except the cost for transport to Ireland. But I think PPL or UPS does it for good. I have already heard about Autozam so thats why there is the different engine. How much horsepower does it have? I need more than 107Hp for my car so some swap would be a solution. Let me know how the work goes.. Im excited about this project.. see the rims variations on. http://www.sportovniautodoplnky.cz/store/default.asp?lngDepartmentID=1

Hi.. the price for my rims 18" with rubber 215/35 is 983EURO.As I was surprised with beeing your car 1.5.. I didnt know they put in MX this motor.. I know about 1.6 SOHC/DOHC ..V6 1.8 ..V6 2.5 KLZE but never heard about 1.5. And from which car is that 1.8 turbo engine? The 17" I have sold aro on all pix on the car.. the 18´s are the pix on first site, just the rim. Chers to Ireland..
