Hi Kenny,Thanks for checking out my 71 nova, glad you liked it.And yes the car gets incredibal attention where ever I go with it,I think the graphics scheme I came up with and the colors are a hit with the public.I have only been to 4 car shows this year each resulted with an award but But my big win was Super Chevy Show at new england dragway this summer that was sweet. As for your Ventura what can I say I forgot they were out there.Your Ventura put the muscle into a forgotten Pontiac,Very Very nicely done and impressive quarter mile runs. You must have a ton of time and money into your car but I know what thats like I would like to do so many things to my car but have spent enough this year on my car,Looking foward to next year and getting it down the track with a full pass WFO.good luck.

Wow, don't see too many Venturas around anymore. I'd say yours is probably the nicest I've seen though. The shaker hood really fits the car and gives the motor a nice retro look. Very cool! My buddy had a green 72 Ventura until someone t-boned it. Actually in my parts, there were just as many if not more venturas than Novas. Although both are very scarce now and probably the Ventura even more so. Love that body style though. As for any recommendations for yours, maybe a nice set of stock rims to add to the sleeper look. I'm kinda partial to the stock look. I always liked the honeycomb rims (the early ones) and even the pontiac rally rims are kinda nice. I had a set of 14" SS rims for mine awhile back and sold them because they wouldn't fit the drum brakes on the front. I'm kickin myself for selling them now that I converted the Nova to front discs. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find another set one of these days. Keep up the great work on the "old girl" and don't pick on too many cars out on the street!

Hey Kenny
I like your Ventura you did a very nice job on it. keep up the good work. I like to see guy's cars like yours. I was under the weather last week and didn't have time to respond to your post. My headers came from S&S HEADERS in Arizona. they were made for the 572ci crate motor and fits perfect it took 15 to 20 times to get the motor in right. lots of luck with your project.

Great LQQkin Ventura Kenny!
I've seen plenty of nice Novas but no Ventura's, yours beats the rest of the competition (Novas) hands down!

Hey! Thanks for cheking out my car! I really love how pontiac redesigned the ventura's front fascia from the nova. Ive always like the ventura more than the nova because of its rarity and style.

Man, you have one outstanding super clean ventura!! I absolutely love classic iron with huge motors and EFI, hell I love over powered cars period and your ventura takes the cake!!! Classic looks on the outside with ground pounding horsepower and brain damaging torque on the inside, fantastic! Thanks for taking the time to check out my ride!

thats a really beautiful car!! i wish i could get that power out of mine but its all original and its a 2 bolt and not a 4 bolt. so im just bringing mine back to original condition. what kind of times does that run in the 1/4 mile??

you're right it is the only way to go pontiac motors are too expensive to build and there arent as many parts...i do have a 4 bolt 454 block sitting in my shed but not the money to finish it right now...i like the 565 my machine shop guy has a 588 hes trying to get my to buy its only $5,500 cause i guess the guy just needs to get rid of it and it only needs bearings

That is SWEEEET! You don't see hardly any of those cars anymore. I would definitely take it to the show. It is easy to tell that you have a LOT of time and $$$ invested in that car. Show it off and make the wife find a place for the trophies!I hope I can find a body man that can get my car smoothed out like that......

You get 5 stars from me, thats a great car, You should make the 200 mile drive, thats nothing, I went on Americruise it was 2500 miles round trip for me, and I drove 500miles just to go to a small car show in Devil's Lake ND. That trip is only 2.5 to 3hr drive. Go for sure! Anyways thanks for checking out my Ventura
