i tried early and mid 80s scirocco radiator and now i am wondering how you worked the hoses. both ports are on the passenger side of the rad. it looks like you are using the resovoir cause i dont see the cap on the top of the rad. are you sure of the year rad you are using? both rads i got were top fill rads. would be great if you had some more pics of your set up. thank you

Hey droid73, I guess you can't do a 'reply' in cardomain? Anyways, its an early 80's VW scirocco rad, really wide and low. It actually sits on mounts I made right on the framerails. I'll post some pics if I can find them.. thanks!

really clean conversion! i am in the process of doing an m20 conversion and was wondering how much cutting you had to do in the nose to get the radiator to sit so low. looks like a 323 radiator, which is what i am trying to use, but i am having a tuff time getting it low enough. do you have any pictures of just the radiator installed? it would be a great help.

Great car! Beautiful condition! I'd love to learn more about what was involved in the engine swap. I've been thinking of doing the same thing, but want to know what's involved before I buy a project vehicle.

You've done some great work. Can you give me more info on the engine mounts. I'm about ready to drop my m20 into my 02.

Mad props on the 6 cyl engine swap. I plan to do the same and was wondering about prices. How much did you pay and how did you acquire the M20 engine? How much did the whole project cost minus the cost of the car? Please get back to me-while you're at it, check out my site.
