looks pretty sharp... here in HI we have a WRX club that swarms a local shop that has the biggest garage and the only AWD dyno on the island every few months. there is a guy here with some UK300 badges and his plates say UK300, but it was white and looked like a regular lowered WRX. yours looks way better.

Just FYI - that isn't a JDM grille; there were actually two styles of bugeye grille - the first was a three piece item with plastic mesh, and featured on early STI models and all WRX's. The later STI spec had a one piece colour coded grille with metal mesh, which looked similar to yours but without the additional plastic inserts in the centre or (is it a..) vent(?) in the top. They also had a pink STI badge.
Interested to hear your reasons behind going for the UK300 look - it would probably have been cheaper to import one like you say - parts are expensive! Have just bought a UK300 lip for mine and it ain't cheap!
Also - what do you mean in your specs by Prodrive / UK300 stage III? The UK300 came with a slightly bigger intercooler than standard but other than that, it was just different styling and wheels with an optional PPP. If you added a straight through exhaust with a 100 cell sports cat I reckon you should easily see around 320bhp with the mods you've made. Or have you done that already?

I took a look at all your rides, and this WRX is really hot. Love the custom headlights, ground effects, and that harness brace is wild. I'm writing you from the Caspain Sea where I'm at work. I work overseas. My first overseas assignment in 1995 was in Waldkrieburg, Bayern. About an hour southeast of Munchen. Halfway to Salzburg. I learned a bit of Duetch, but have forgotten most everything but: ich mere ein bier bitter.... danke...

Thanks for the heads-up on the Europlate. Guess I wasn't going for "authentic" now was I?
