How hard was the removal of the entire dashboard? How long did it take you? My air (hot / cool / AC) are not blowing & I suspect that I will need to change my blower motor
Let me know any tips
thanks

All these great looking vans.Do you guys know a good place for parts? I am looking for the steering middle arm [or link] for my 1985 Toyota van. I already have a new idler and pitman arms. But no one seems to know what I am talking about. All the wrecking yards here in my part of Texas have crushed all their old vans. If anyone knows a wrecking yard or a hard to find parts place that would handle it please E-mail me at OverkillHarvill@Gmail.com

I could have never done that rebuild!! Hat's off to you. When I had my '89 4wd van tranny rebuilt, the guy who did it had been working on transmissions since high school (he's probably in his mid-forties now). He put in additional syncros and changed the spline to the later versions not seen on our body style. Bottom line, I got almost 2 mile per gallon better milage after he was through with it. Big favor--in your hunting around for van parts, if you see any chromed steel wheels (no spokes) for my 4wd van, please let me know. Thanks!

I like turning wrenches, but I give you credit for diggin'into your tranny! Please visit and join the CarDomain Vanners Group at http://groups.cardomain.com/groups/13090/pages/13578 where Old School and Newbie Vanners can share customizing ideas, history and culture, promote their rides and events, AND hopefully as the group grows will attract some manufacturers and retailers best suited to serve up some vanner products. It's easy to find stuff for cars and trucks, so let's let the world know that VANS need love, too.

A beauty. I just picked up an 1986 to restore. Body is in nice shape with little bodywork needed, but the inside is horrible. Also needs a comple wiring job. The engine is super. I hope to get it looking half as good as yours and I will be happy.

Very nice shape for the old van! I almost bought one as a first car, but I wound up buying a VW Vanagon. Someday I will get one of these. Keep up the good work!

nice shape for a west coast toyota, and the R22's are one of the nicer engines to have.
