Hey
thats a pretty cool collection of pics you have; I was thinking about getting a Dodge Ram 50 and now I think I will; just tell me one thing? where do you get the accessories for that old of a truck? I mean what if I wanted roll bars? where would I get those; been looking around the net and can't find them.... Thanks

I'm looking at the "when I got it picture of your truck" If you can look at that shot and see that little silver box mounted to the fender right near the battery, could you tell me what that box is and where I can get a replacement for my truck? It is making a humming noise and won't start but we can jump it off. No one around here seems to be able to identify it! Need a pro's help!

The only rust is in the bed and some real minor surface rust in a few other places. The front air dam justs unbolt and can be replaced.

Hey, no I haven't sold the other d50 yet. As of now though i'm not really trying to get ride of it. It has the doors to the Little Black Truck so I need to get those swapped and some other things that belong to the Little Black Truck. I am cleaning it up though for when I am ready to sell it. I'm finding all the parts to those two trucks I can find around the yard so they can go with it.(Mostly engine parts.) I also want to get the performance motor from the Little Black Truck out to the orange one too so it can go with it. When it goes everything goes with it I don't need, which will be about eveything from it and stuff from the other truck. We have about 4 heads to the original motor from the Little Black Truck which is the same type of motor in the orange one so rebuild one of those get all the front engine stuff like timing chains and all that stuff and it will run, and fuel filters. Or who ever buys it can get the right head to the performance motor then put all the parts from the wrong head in it and have that motor running. The head on the performance motor is for a side mounted engine not a front mounted engine, so it doesn't work right, but you can use the parts from it in another head. If your interested in it let m know and i'll let you know when i'm ready to sell it.

Nice pictures. do you know any websites that i could go to to get parts/accessories for my 79. My step-dad and i are currently in the beginning of swaping my 4-banger for a camaro 2.8 liter v-6. If you want some pics during the swap or when it is done let me know. If you know any body that needs any thing for a 79 or an 80 or anything else parts from those trucks are compatible with i have 1 complete truck really just needs head and timing gears, chain stuff like that and it'll run. the only thing i don't really have is a head for either motor. i have an 85 miniram motor jp pistons all rebuilt still has hone marks in the cylinders but no head so we have no use for, it has a 5-speed manual attached to it. we actually have the had but it's cracked the came and valves and stuff can all be used in a different head if you know anyone interested. but i need to get ride of stuff to get money for the one were building(79)and the 80 ihave no use for and i just want to get ride of it. i figure some one can use it cause i see a few drivin around town and there all beet up. let me know what you think of my project, any web sites, and any one interrested in parts or a whole truck maybe.
