I know it's almost $4 to a gallon there, and even more in the west coast. Simply can't understand why things had to come into these proportions with the gas prices. Anyways, loved hearing that V8 purring under the hood of that old Chevy. Just keep it with you. Those cars appreciate in value as they grow older. Definitely a 5-star ride. Cheers!!!

Thanks and great to hear from you again, Jason. How are things going for you? Hope everything's fine with you there inspite of the high gas prices. Gas here is P52.50/ liter, around $5.25 per gallon. Getting harder by the day. There's no stopping us from loving our rides though. Cheers!!!

This is a rare one now. Very nice Chev!!! My dad had one like this back when I was too young to really remember it, save for some pictures I saw of that car. It was a green one with light green roof if I'm not mistaken.
I also have some similar plans with my Escort, primarily starting with the brakes. I love the way she runs but not the way she stops...lol. I think I really need to do some upgrades in this area, maybe starting with the hydrovac assembly. We simply need to apply some new technology in our old cars to better enjoy them. Another one is the front seats. I plan to install newer buckets for better comfort. Take good care of that Chev, Jason. It's a 58-year old GEM. Definitely 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for you on that ride!!! Cheers!!!

Thanks man... its styled the way it is because I can't afford to have one of these. I own a really rotten 48 Ford Convertible but the money to build it escapes me since I just started college. I am a Street Rodder through and through.

Thanks for the kind words regarding the "Orange Krate". As you can imagine, it's taking forever to get this Stang 100% complete. But hopefully it will be done by the end of th emonth.
Thanks again and take care. Glad to hear your not selling her. You know you would be kicking yourself in the ass a week after she was gone. That car is just to special to let go of.

You're a GM tech?!? cool. My Prix is a great car. It has reliably put up with 30k with me at the wheel, which trust me... is impressive. I agree about my GP's generation being better. The new ones, well I don't know what the hell Pontiac was thinking. Gonna do Eibach springs when I replace the shocks & front hubs in the spring, and more customization is planned.

RARE RARE RARE and this car is sooo right. Curves in all the right places and it's especially appealing for a '50s ride... not my favorite era, admittedly.
You really got something special here and maaaaaaaan if this were candy coated from a shop... you'd have to stock smelling salts in the glove compartment to revive people who see it.
