That thing is sweet! One of my friends just started driving one of those and I think it's pretty sweet. The fact that you auto-cross is also cool because a couple of my friends do the same thing. Good luck with the v8 your putting in, let me know what you are going to use, your truck is sweet!

hey nice truck it is what i have been wanting to do for a long time and i was wanting to know were you got your drop kit and what year the rims are off of the z71 i am haveing a hard time finding a drop kit for the truck and yes it is also slow as hell it only has 67000 miles my grandfather had it and i bought it from him any info would be greatful thanks giovanni email at rocwakah2@msn.com p.s. i have been in the sand box too good luck and thanks.

hey, nice truck, as for mine being streetable, i went a little too far, not as streetable as i wanted. ok on the road, but not idleing, it wont idle under 1600 rpms, not a daily driver, thats for sure. also wont run(very good) on anything less than torco 110 racing fuel, thanks for checking it out. p.s. i'm looking for a nice pair of factory 5 star chrome front rims, (they seem to be to only 6-lug rims(i can find) that will match the rears, any suggestions?

Thanks for the comments, but my truck doesn't weigh that much. I am going to try and get an all aluminum 318 v-8 together when I get back to the states. I should run 13's I've been told.

Actually, i just saw on another ram page that his car weighs like 2800lbs. In that case, my car is like 400lbs lighter, and i can't really picture you running anything less than at least high 17s... But prove me wrong :)

Looking good man, I just wanted to point out that you really do need a bigger carb on it, that would help tons at the top end.(even though it is a "truck" engine, it definitely needs a bigger carb) I have a 68 Volvo with a weber DGV 32/36 and it is my limiter. I've raced a couple times, and it runs mid/high 18s. The weber is in need of repair though.. Our cars prolly weigh about the same too. Also, after you get a bigger carb, i'd recommend a larger exhaust too, at least a 2.25. In the summer i'll be running 17s(because i'll be installing dual SUs, each with a 40 mm throat). good luck man, check out my volvo, and let me know what u decide to do with your truck. Peace
