Over the weekend, I went to Detroit for the start of the 2008 DUB tour, and of course, I had a total blast. Unfortunately, it's a little sad to walk around the Motor City, because it's immediately clear what decades of decline have done to it. There are so many beautiful old buildings standing abandoned and neglected, and I've never been someplace where I've seen so many homes which have been gutted by fire. The whole experience was pretty sobering, and I spent a lot of time wondering how it must have felt here during the '50s and '60, when the town was booming. But on the bright side, the show was great, and all the people I met were super-cool. Check out our photos from the show below, and head over to the blog for the rest of our exclusive coverage.
