At XXX Root Beer in Issaquah, you can always count on getting a wicked burger andof coursea delicious root beer float, but in the summer, you can generally count on seeing some killer rides as well. Of these events, some of my favorites are the totally open shows where any make is welcome. Isn't variety the spice of life? Anyway, this weekend found plenty of killer muscle cars in attendance. One of the more unusual rides I saw was this '60s Mustang. Check out the trippy paint job and the burly grill on this puppy! While the owner might catch some flack from pony purists, I thought the execution was pretty well done. Remember guys, there are plenty of basket case Mustangs out there if you want to bring one back to bone-stock. Speaking of serious mods, I really wanted to climb behind the wheel of this blown 'Vette and see what all that power feels like, but for some reason, the owner was hesitant. Who knows why?
