Looks like Northwest Mopar fans finally caught a break. After years of having May showers dampen the Mopars Unlimited Spring Roundup, the move to early June paid off big time. The skies were sunny, and the parking lot at XXX Root beer was overflowing with a sea of sick cars. For those who grew up obsessed with the Dukes of Hazard, there was an original General Leecomplete with battle scarsalong with a slew of other amazing Chargers. One of the coolest things I saw was a 1969 Barracuda Savage GT getting pulled off a period car carrier. The Savage was made by aftermarket performance company Auto Craftakin to Shelby for Ford or Yenko for Chevyand this sweet machine is one of only three or four know to exist. Over the years, a lot of the original parts have gone missing or been replaced, but none of that seemed to matter to the gathered crowd. When the 600HP mill was fired up, everyone was all smiles. If you're a fan of muscle cars, this is definitely a can't-miss event. See you next year!CarDomain Network is looking to hire talented photographers for coverage of car events.
