Day four found everybody running on fumes. Maintaining SEMA-level intensity for the better part of a week is pretty taxing. You know how it sounds when you turn up a stereo really loud but don't put on a record? That's what it sounds like inside my head. Not that I'm complaining. I've met a ton of great people, seen some totally amazing cars and experienced Vegas nightlife. What a town!
Some of my personal highlights? Seeing a Bugatti Veyron, a Toyota 2000GT and driving the Scion into the convention center. Ever driven a car into a building that wasn't a garage? I haven't, and I was pretty stoked. I was also pretty stoked to be on the road with the CarDomain crew. We did a few dinners, and I sat with different people every time. I have to say, I work with a bunch of really cool cats. We're already sketching out how to cover SEMA next year, and we've got some pretty hilarious ideas. Maybe have a wrecked Lambo in the booth? If we did it in the parking lot, we could make it into a barbeque. It'd be easy, because Lambos are always catching on fire anyway.
Don't miss a second of SEMA, read the blog!
