Hot Import Nights has to be on top of import tuning, and the Vegas stop demonstrated they've got their fingers firmly on the pulse of the scene.
The car show was great. My personal favorite was a '91 third-generation Maxima. I've always liked those cars, and this one was super clean, had a digital dash and was painted Sunset Lemans, the orange 350z color. After checking out the cars, I watched the stunt bike riders. They did some crazy stuffwheelies, stoppies, standing on the seatbut honestly, it was the same stuff over and over, like they ran out of tricks.
For me, the drifting demo was the highlight of the show. Props to Gary McKinney of McKinney Motor Sports for assembling such a great team. Those drivers have some serious skills! There really should have been grandstands for it though, because everyone was pushing and shoving to get a spot along the fence. Fair enough, I can throw elbows with the best of 'em. See you at the next stop!
