Last weekend the DUB tour hit Motown, and of course, CarDomain was along for the ride! Our hotel was located in the GM world headquarters, which is larger than you could possibly imagine. I got lost three times!
Of course, the show was off the hook. This city lives and breathes cars, and the fans here were as intense as any I've seen. In the CarDomain booth, we didn't want to play favorites, so we featured a Chevy Monte Carlo on custom spinners alongside a Ford F150 with a huge screen in the bed. And even though the Chevy/Ford rivalry is as intense as it gets, our Motor City members got along just fine. Both rides had Lamborghini doors, so maybe there's some common ground between these feuding factions. In the interest of keeping the peace, I didn't mention that Lambo was once owned by Chrysler. Who knows how the guys felt about Mopars?
