Event Date: Oct. 01, 2005
Long Beach, CA played host to one truly unique event: the Japanese Classic Car Show. This show was a break from the mainstream car show and events that we cover. It is mind blowing that a US event offered a better selection of old school JDM vehicles than you would find in Japan. California is the ideal home for many of these classics because of the dry climate that helps to preserve this slice of JDM history.
We made our way through to the show to see many of these classics in showroom condition. The integration of the old school style with new school technology really offered an intriguing twist to the show. A few of the truly memorable submissions were a 1971 Skyline, a Toyota 2000 GT and Adam Carolla's Datsun BRE race cars.
